Rocks Resort Wear

Rocks Wear Resort has recently been renovated and today offers women 30 years and over the opportunity to purchase beautiful and unique clothing pieces and fashion accessories.

Fifteen years ago, Jackie brought Rocks Resort Wear as a second hand clothing shop called Replay. Over the years Jackie began bringing in labels such as ANIMALE, KITA-KU and TARAVA. Jackie was very much loved by the Ettalong community and was looked upon as an inspiration to all that knew her.

Coupled with running the shop, Jackie also cared for her husband Rolley, who is hearing-impaired, by taking his calls and organising his jobs as a crane truck operator. Very sadly Jackie lost her battle with cancer in March 2012. Jackie’s husband Rolley has kept it going through his grief, as a testament to his wife.

As time progressed a local talent, Pam Kirby, was discovered and was given the honour of becoming store manager earlier this year. With her fabulous flair for buying, and dressing people, the shop, now known as ‘Rocks Resort Wear’, has made a comeback by looking after local ladies and tourists who visit our beautiful Central Coast.

The store now stocks plus size clothing, Ameise shoes and handbags, stunning jewellery and a large range of renowned Australian and international labels.

Pam says that, “My vision for the shop is to fit the needs of our local community, to encourage our ladies from ages 30 and to our very senior girls to shop locally. Furthermore, we want to offer them personalised fittings and service by Maureen and myself. As manager and buyer of Rocks Resort Wear boutique the point of difference for me is to offer stylish, casual and smart clothing at various prices to suit all ladies and all budgets. While in store they can also have the option of teaming their outfits with our large selection of handbags, clutches and our shoe range. Starting from July / August we will also be introducing a range of after five clothing as well as a splash of mother of bride dresses.”
